Recently one of our members (Arun) gave us 5 glider kits. He wanted the space at home and therefore the kits had to go. We held a committee meeting to discuss what was the best way to sell these kits and decided to hold an auction among the club members. Each lot was described to the members beforehand via an email so that everyone knew what they were bidding for.
Yesterday (25th Feb) we held the auction using the club's WhatsApp group and each kit had a reserve of £25. The bidding was lively for each kit and we managed to sell them all.

In total we took £225 for all 5 kits and that money will help the club in the future to pay for things like the Long Man flying permit, etc.....
