Christmas Holiday Flying

Four SSS Members braved an unusually busy car park at Bo-Peep this morning to enjoy a brisk North Easterly.

Nick W and Rob P trudged Eastwards to the usual area, while Scot, Nick V and Martin J tried the slope about 300m East of the Car Park.Nick W flew his Magic and Rob P aired his Grunt.

Meanwhile, on the other slope, Martin, Scot and Nick V were armed with Wild Things.

In addition, Scot flew his ME163 Comet.

Nick V sucscessfully maidened his Extreme which flew well in the smooth if cold conditions.

Less sucsessful was his Pelican which didn't make it into the air due to a fault in the all moving wings.
Martin had several good flights with his Sierra and Aggressor.

A good morning to blow the cobwebs away and hoping to enjoy the slopes again as the wind has settled into Northerlies for a while.

  1. Great morning flying. I also maidened my new trousers. Which I must say are lovely and warm. Just my finger tips got a bit cold. My old transmit doesn’t fit my NX10 so can’t use that to keep my hands warm.
