Mill Hill 31st August 2025

We had decided to fly at Beeding Bowl today, but on our way there I received a message from Nick V saying that the better lift was at Mill Hill, so we changed venue.

On arrival Martin J and I found there was a good SW wind and Nick V was flying his Wildthing and Plane Sailing (a name he invented for this model)

Martin and I both had Wildthings which flew really well in the strong SW wind. I had a Coyote and Martin had a Blob, but we left them in the car as the conditions were too blustery.

During the morning we were also joined by George E (Wildthing and Blob), Nick W (Wildthing) and Dave K (Wildthing).

I had arranged to meet Bruce A for his second session of flying instruction and although we only had about an hour, Bruce progressed very well.

A number of our club members had decided to go to Beeding Bowl to give it a try. We decided to remain at Mill Hill because the conditions were really good.

Overall we had a great morning's flying and Bruce progressed well.
